(Roach FAQ)

Q: What roaches are legal where?
A: Blaberus discoidalis are legal across the United States. Blatta lateralis and Blaptica dubia are illegal to own in Florida.

Q: How long do they live?
A: Blaptica dubia, Blatta lateralis and Blaberus discoidalis are known to live up to 18 months.

Q: Do they bite?
A: No, but discoids do have small spines on the back of the legs that can poke you. (It doesnt hurt at all)

Q: Can roaches climb?
A: The three main species I sell can not climb smooth plastic or glass however if the plastic is not smooth they can and will climb it.

Q: Can roaches fly?
A: Sorta, male Blaptica dubia and Blatta lateralis do have wings and can coast a few inches, but can not fly well. Both sexes of Blaberus discoidalis have wings but I have never seen one attempt to fly.

Q: What is Roach Chow?
A: Roach chow is simply roach food. The roach chow that I offer has been perfected over the last two years. Roaches go crazy over my chow and seem to grow fast and plumper.
