Product Description

Blaptica dubia (also known as Guyana Orange Spotted Roach) is one of the most popular feeder roach. Adults can reach up to 1 ½“ to 2 inches. Once they reach adulthood they can live up to 12 months.
Dubia also have the great advantage of being extremely easy to sex as the adult males have full wings while the adult females have only tiny wing stubs. Dubia are very slow movers, and cannot fly or climb smooth surfaces. They are great feeder insects because of their shell to meat ratio.  These feeder insects are live bearers, easy keepers, and very good breeders!

  3. The Best hands down!

Posted by Miguel Buitrago on 27th Oct 2009

You will never find a better price, anywhere! They offer great customer service and answer any questions you might have patiently and correctly. I ordered 100 mixed and they gave me all sizes, males, females. Perfect to start my own breeding colony. I will def order from them again. My tegu loves dubias! Plus crickets make way too much noise and they stink and they escape. Crickets are annoying!

  4. Great People Great Knowledge and great food

Posted by Norman on 26th Oct 2009

WOW these guys are excellent to buy from ... I first met the crew at a Reptile Show in Raleigh NC and man they really know their bugs ... right down to the protein level (would not want that job ... ha ha). The knowledge they gave me has got me thinking about raising Bearded Dragrons and using them to feed them ... I say all this because this group of folks are ones that you can create a good relationship with ... that's for being real.

MY DRAGONS LOVE THESE DUDIAs ... I can't call them roaches on my wife would have a fit ...

  6. great service and great feeders

Posted by David on 9th Jul 2009

I am new to keeping roaches and the feeder store emailed me back with more information I needed before I placed a order and also answered my emails after I got my roaches. Customer service is super and the roaches are very healthy and look great also. I would recommend anyone to the feeder store for your feeder needs.

  7. Can't get better roaches any where else

Posted by Matt on 9th Jul 2009

I order dubias from the feeder store once a month with no headaches or worries. All my animals look so much better since I started feeding these roaches and I feel like my animals color is looking better as well. Thanks

  8. Amazing roaches

Posted by Rachel on 18th Jun 2009

I ordered a few Dubia to test the waters with my bearded dragons and geckos. After one bite, they were hooked and looking for more. So I immediately went back to Chris and bought a 100 more. His products are of the best quality and he has an amazing variety. Best of all, he's a nice and honest guy to work with.

  9. Great Size

I recently ordered the 250 count and Chris sent a good variety of sizes. A+++
