Dubia roaches are one of the most popular feeder roaches. Adults can reach up to 1 ½“ to 2 inches. Once dubia roaches reach adulthood they can live up to 12 months.
Dubia roaches also have the great advantage of being extremely easy to sex as the adult males have full wings while the adult females have only tiny wing stubs. Dubia are very slow movers, and cannot fly or climb smooth surfaces. They are great feeder insects because of their shell to meat ratio. These feeder insects are live bearers, easy keepers, and very good breeders!

Chris is the best! I had an unpleasant experience with another company (wont say their name) and then found the feeder store and was glad I did. He kept me informed of the status of my order so I knew when to expect it. I am happy that I found this website and will continue to order from here.

Better than Crickets!!

So much better than crickets! My adolescent beardie LOVES these sooo much more than crickets. I LOVE them because:
1. They provide better protein than crickets
2. It takes less larger roaches to fill my beardie than crickets...more bang for the buck
3. They don't jump and they don't escape during transfer like crickets can
4. Their life is longer than crickets. At the end of 2 weeks, I have at least 20 dead crickets vs. MAYBE a few roaches.
5. They do have frass, but given the above, they are much better than crickets!!
6. You do get a variety of sizes, and that is FANTASTIC for an adolescent to adult beardie.
I give this supplier a AAAAAA++++++ rating! In addition to above, the roaches arrive and they are all alive and well!!!

This was my first time ordering from this site, and I will definitely be back. The service was great, Chris responded to my questions very quickly, and the Dubia I ordered were fantastic. I didn't really know what to expect with a "mix" of roaches, but I definitely got a mix with several adults. very pleased.

This was my first time ordering from this website. Everything was terrific. All the way from the easy ordering, to the communication, the shipping, and then when I opened up the box...the roaches looked terrific and there was a complete mix of sizes. Sometimes you never know if you will just get a bunch of smaller ones or what. I felt like this was exactly what the description said...."a mix". Thank you - we will definitely be back.

ordered 150 for a friend and myself to split for our bearded dragons food, got in a couple days with no doa's and extra, sizes were from little baby to almost breeding size, i was impressed at how well they were packaged so that they werent beat up or smashed in transit.. i will oreder all my roaches from here from now on.

I cannot believe how great my experience was! The roaches all arrived healthy, they were bigger than I was expecting (as all my dragon loving friends who raise roaches seem to have gotten rolly pollies sized roaches from other places) the price is the best I found anywhere and the shipping was extremely fast. I would gladly recommend The Feeder Store and frankly I already have! Thanks so much!

My leopard geckos LOVE THEM! Despite the ick factor they are Amazing! only one DOA! ONE ive ordered 1000s of crickets and almost always half are dead(which is outragious!) best price on the net i could find! other places want 40 Atleast! for 100! and thats without shipping! Will definatly order from again!! I couldnt be happier! on the first round my little gecko ate 7! in one sitting! its more then what he was eating on crickets! they are however harder to dust with calcuim but thats alright^^ Definatly telling my fellow reptile owners of them!
